It indicates the engine is not reaching operating temperature. From what I can find the 3.6L V-6 takes a 203 degree thermostat. The Mopar part is the housing and thermostat. 2003 Light Khaki TJ Rubicon, Manual, Soft Top.

ON my 2012 JKUR, 4.1 axels, 3.6l, 315/70r17 with Traildash to adjust tire pressure and tire size. Also have an AEV snorkel. In August drove from Albuquerque to Sedona towing a Uhaul trailer. On the way there had coolant temp go up just short of the 3/4 mark. Big job, took a week. Would have run roughly $3k if it for warrantee. Often times taking multiple attempts. To start with I would open the radiator cap and make sure it is full, right up to the top. Then keep the overflow bottle level at least to the min line. The hot oil warning is not for engine oil, it's for the automatic transmission. Check your transmission fluid level and condition. Also check for any obstruction of the transmission cooler.
